Taiwan's first Luxury Collection hotel, THE AMNIS opened in late 2025 in Kaohsiung's Asia New Bay Area, reimagined from the former Silks Club. It's adults-only (10+), art-obsessed, and built around a philosophy of water and silence. Every corner of the property is curated by The ALIEN Art Centre — including a 4D kinetic 'Dancing Particles' sculpture in the lobby — making it the only hotel in Taiwan with an art museum as its creative director. Rooms start at 60 sqm, walls are 25cm thick for soundproofing, and Italian FALOMO beds and BOSE audio systems come standard.
