The Chedi El Gouna opened in December 2022 as Egypt's first member of Leading Hotels of the World. It brings the Chedi brand's signature Asian-minimalist aesthetic to a Red Sea beachfront setting — 82 rooms and suites in a terracotta-toned building that nods to El Gouna's traditional architecture. Inside, everything is earthy tones, ebony accents, and a hush that feels deliberate. The beach is private, the pools are tropical-style, and the rooftop Japanese restaurant Nihon is genuinely worth planning around.
