Why It Matters
One of just 15 rooms, a 1-Michelin-star restaurant (Il Visibilio) on property, a serious spa (The Wellness Sanctuary) with hydrotherapy circuits, and direct access to the Vallepicciola winery. The Michelin Guide selected it, and it carries Tablet Hotels recognition.
The Club House is the adults-only sister property to Hotel Le Fontanelle, sharing the same Fontanelle Estate grounds in the Chianti hills about 30 minutes from Siena. Opened in 2022 in a beautifully restored 18th-century building, it runs just 15 rooms and suites — small by design. The style is classic Tuscany done with real conviction: stone facades, terracotta floors, wooden beam ceilings, and antique-inflected furnishings, but nothing fusty about it.
