The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Urban residential luxury meets curated Vegas spectacle. Think sophisticated art installations, Fornasetti-wallpapered closets, and a three-story chandelier bar — but also 1,300 slot machines one floor below. It attracts design-conscious travelers and serious food people as much as it does high-rollers.
Book a Fountain View Terrace room or Wraparound Terrace Suite specifically — the Bellagio fountain views are the reason to stay here, not a bonus
Why It Matters
One of only a handful of Strip hotels where nearly all rooms have actual private outdoor terraces. The restaurant collection is genuinely world-class — not just celebrity names slapped on hotel restaurants. And the Sahra Spa's authentic Turkish Hammam is one of the few functioning ones in North America.
The Cosmopolitan opened in 2010 as the lone new resort hotel to debut on the Strip during the recession — which tells you something about its spirit. It's a massive, unapologetically big operation with 3,041 rooms, a 100,000-square-foot casino, and a dining roster stacked with actual celebrity chefs: José Andrés runs three concepts here, David Chang has two. But the thing that sets it apart from other Vegas mega-resorts is the residential feel — nearly every room has a private terrace, which is rare on the Strip, and the best ones look directly at the Bellagio fountains.
