Galway's first design-led boutique hotel, The Dean opened in a 5,000 sqm building that cleverly incorporates an 1830s stone structure and a section of the original 1890s Galway-to-Clifden railway tunnel — you can see the vaulted brickwork from the gym floor. Bold, art-filled rooms come loaded with Smeg mini-fridges, Marshall speakers, and Nespresso machines; suites add Rega turntables and Martin acoustic guitars.
