A manor house in the woods outside Nistelrode, The Duke Suites has the bones of an English country estate: checkerboard marble floors, a sweeping oak staircase, crystal chandeliers, and rooms that mix dark mahogany cabinetry with crimson headboards and botanical wallpapers. All 18 suites exceed 70 square meters — freestanding baths, geometric-patterned walls, Auping box springs made specifically for the property. Chef Alain Alders, a fixture of Dutch gastronomy for over sixteen years, runs the kitchen at The Charles, while an 18-hole golf course rated among the best in the Netherlands, a Finnish sauna, whirlpool, and round-the-clock butler service fill out the rest.

From EUR200 / nightThe standard suite here is anything but standard. All 18 rooms exceed 70m² with views over the nature reserve and golf course. Dark mahogany cabinetry, crimson headboards, botanical wallpapers and geometric-patterned walls set the English country-house tone. Each has a freestanding bath, a large walk-in shower, custom Auping box-spring bed, flat-screen TV, minibar stocked with champagne, tea and coffee facilities, and a gas fireplace. Access to The Duke Club's members-only 18-hole golf course, rated among the best in the Netherlands by Leading Courses. Tall, old trees line the course; cleverly designed to challenge and reward golfers at all levels. Includes buggy with golf packages. Requires a valid golf ability license (GVB or equivalent) to book a tee time.
Borrow a Duke-branded bike and explore the surrounding countryside, including the De Maashorst nature reserve with its forests, heathland and wild bison.
The 3,500-hectare De Maashorst national park is virtually on the doorstep. Forests, heathland, dunes, sand drifts and wetlands — and a large fenced bison enclosure.

The estate can be booked for weddings, product launches, galas and private parties in The Royal Duke event space (up to ~300 guests) or the more intimate Lodge (up to 50). Full planning service with butler team.
