A 41-room five-star boutique hotel spread across two historic buildings on Amsterdam's Keizersgracht canal, in the heart of the famous Nine Streets shopping district. The main building stands on the site of Amsterdam's first theater — the Schouwburg, built by Jacob van Campen in 1638 — where Rembrandt famously sketched actors in production. The original entrance gate still stands. Restaurant Vinkeles, named after Golden Age engraver Reinier Vinkeles, sits in an 18th-century bakery with intact original ovens and holds two Michelin stars. No pool, no spa, no gym-as-main-attraction — but the two restaurants and genuine Les Clefs d'Or concierge service are the real draw.

Split across two floors — bedroom and bathroom on separate levels — with a garden view in the Original building. The separate bathtub and shower is a genuine upgrade from the standard rooms. Available in Loxura or Amber style. From 35m².

Junior Suite Canal View
The canal-facing option in the Serendipity building, recently refreshed by Studio Linse in early 2025. Natural shades of brown and grey frame views of the Keizersgracht. From 45m², with large queen or twin bed configuration, separate bathtub and shower, B&O, Illy, Aesop. These are some of the most requested rooms in the hotel and 16 of them can be connected as family rooms.

The larger duplex at 40m², with the same two-floor logic and garden views. Two floors means the bathroom is genuinely separate from the living and sleeping space — a small luxury that makes a real difference on longer stays.

Luxury Single Room
The smallest room in the house, located in the Original building. Queen size bed in a room barely bigger than a ship's cabin at 19m². But everything in it is right: B&O sound system, Illy espresso machine, Aesop bath products, and either a bathtub or shower. Choose between Loxura (coppery butterfly-inspired tones) or Amber (sunlit residential warmth) design.

The top of the room hierarchy at 60m²+, available with a garden or canal view depending on which building. Available in Amber, Loxura, or Loft style.
