Why It Matters
Purpose-built on the bones of Golden's original Fire Brick Works, the hotel is the only full-service boutique hotel in town with trail access, a legit taproom, a food truck, rooftop firepits, and a shuttle to Red Rocks — all under one roof. Listed in both the Michelin Guide and the American Express Hotel Collection.
The Eddy sits on the site of the old Rocky Mountain Fire Brick Works — and you can feel it. Bold color, exposed textures, and industrial-era artwork line the walls of a 49-room boutique that takes Golden's outdoor-enthusiast culture seriously. It's a real basecamp: a pedestrian bridge from the property connects directly to a 24-mile trail network, Red Rocks is 9 miles south, and Coors Brewery is a 15-minute walk east. The taproom downstairs is genuinely good, open to the public, and draws locals as much as guests.

Four beds and a sofa sleeper — this is the one for groups and families who need real space. The bunk beds are a genuine hit with kids. Oversized layout gives everyone room to breathe after a long day on the trails. Note: bunk beds are not ADA accessible within this room type.
Two Queens, Two Twin Bunks, and Sofa SleeperOutfitter Suite
A one-bedroom corner suite with a separate living room and what the hotel describes as the most luxurious bathroom on property. Good pick for a romantic stay — or anyone who wants more elbow room and a proper lounging space after a long outdoor day.

The biggest configuration on property — a two-bedroom corner suite with a living room, dining table, and views north to the hills and south over Golden. Genuinely spacious. Perfect for families or two-couple trips who want to share common space but have separate sleeping areas.
