The George sits right in St. Georg — one of Hamburg's most culturally mixed, independently spirited neighborhoods — just a short walk from the Außenalster lake. The hotel leans into a British-inflected design sensibility: dark timber floors in the meeting rooms, a beautifully wallpapered library stocked with leather furniture, and individually curated art in every room. At 41m², this is a generous suite with a distinctive tapered balcony overlooking the St. Georg neighborhood. Catches a beautiful sunrise. Good bathroom with double sinks and a separate shower/tub combo.

The largest of the standard rooms at 26m². Extra-long king-size beds, a lounge corner with a comfortable armchair, and views over The George Garden (the private courtyard). More space than the S rooms, without the lake-view premium.

The Alsterblick (Alster-view) version of the S category. Same 21m² footprint as the standard S Room but with a terrace and direct Alster lake views — making this the value proposition of the hotel. Queen-size bed, Nespresso, and that view at sunset.

The flagship room. At 58m², it has a separate living and sleeping area, a proper bathtub, and a view over the Outer Alster. Individual design throughout — custom furniture, original art, warm tones. The best view in the house for lake-watchers.
