Opened in 1891, Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa sits directly on St Helier's Esplanade — the only five-star hotel on the seafront, with uninterrupted views across St Aubin's Bay to Elizabeth Castle. It has 108 bedrooms, an award-winning spa, and Tassili, a 4 AA Rosette restaurant now listed in the 2025 Michelin Guide. The hotel earned a grim footnote during WWII when German occupying forces commandeered it as an admin office and burned most of the furniture for fuel. Today it's polished, contemporary, and serious about food.

The Terrace transforms into heated private dining pods from November through December. Pods seat up to 8 (or 12 in the larger dome). Minimum spend of £300 per smaller dome and £400 for larger dome applies Thursday-Saturday.
