Why It Matters
Converted from a 1970s Beverly Hills hotel by Ennismore Design Studio and Fettle Design. First Hoxton in Italy. Sits in Parioli — Rome's upscale residential quarter near Villa Borghese — rather than in the tourist center, giving it a genuinely local feel. Green Key certified for sustainability.
The Hoxton, Rome opened in May 2021 inside a renovated 1970s hotel building in the leafy, residential Parioli district. Think warm oak floors, brass lighting, statement headboards, and bathrooms styled after classic Italian cinema — all 192 rooms carry an Italian mid-century design sensibility without getting precious about it. It's the brand's most Italian-feeling property, and also one of its quietest neighborhood bets: Parioli is well-heeled and local, not a tourist hotspot, which is either a feature or a bug depending on why you're in Rome.
