The Inn At Ocean's Edge
Contemporary Maine coastal — clean lines, king beds, gas fireplaces, Gilchrist & Soames bath products. Elegantly understated rather than rustic. Strong romance-trip energy, with couples making up the bulk of guests.
Book direct — breakfast is included when you book directly with the Inn and is not automatically added through OTAs.
Why It Matters
One of the very few hotels on Penobscot Bay with a true infinity-edge pool. That saltwater pool, which creates an optical illusion of merging with the ocean, is genuinely unique in the Midcoast region. Managed by Migis Hotel Group since 2004 and listed with Tablet Hotels.
A 32-room boutique hotel sitting on 11 acres of Penobscot Bay shoreline between Camden and Lincolnville Beach. Three distinct buildings — the Main Inn, the private Hilltop, and the Poolhouse — spread across manicured grounds. The star attraction is a 65-foot heated saltwater infinity pool built from local stone that practically disappears into the ocean beyond. Breakfast is included (and legitimately excellent), and there's a limited-service spa in the Poolhouse. No dinner service on-site, so guests head into Camden for the evening.
