The LINE Austin is a 428-room boutique hotel with mid-century bones and a thoroughly modern soul, sitting right on Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin. Built on the bones of the 1965 Crest Inn — once home to Club Seville, a jazz and dinner club that broadcast live sets to local radio — it opened as the LINE in 2018 after a design overhaul by Austin-based Michael Hsu Office of Architecture and LA-based Sean Knibb. The result is exposed concrete columns, sandblasted plywood headboards, floor-to-ceiling windows with lake and city views, and over 500 original works by Texas artists spread across the rooms.

The entry-level room and honestly a solid choice. At 300 sq ft it's not enormous, but the floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in rain shower, and Cowshed bath products make it feel considered rather than cramped. Views face downtown Austin and the Capitol.
KingLakeside Double Queen
Slightly more space than the standard Double Queen at 425 sq ft, with Lady Bird Lake views. Living area seating and a micro-library with Texas authors. Two TVs and Nespresso machine.

Same size as the standard King but with the coveted Lady Bird Lake views instead of city views. Worth the upgrade if you want to wake up to water.
KingLakeside Suite

KingRWB Apartment Suite
The property's flagship suite at 1,475 sq ft — more apartment than hotel room.
