The main Lodge anchors the estate with a soaring Great Hall, twin stone fireplaces, and a two-story wine cellar, but most of the action spreads far across forested ridges to tree houses, cottages, and mountain homes. Celestial Suite
The showpiece of the main Lodge. Two stories of space in the Observatory Tower — directly below Primland's working observatory. A custom spiral staircase connects the lower living and dining area (with flat-screen TV, wet bar, and separate powder room) to the upper bedroom. Wraparound balcony delivers 360-degree views of the forest, golf course, and mountains by day and a wall of stars at night. The master bathroom features imported European glass mosaic tiles and Dornbracht fittings. Down duvets, plush robes, slippers, and Bulgari products throughout.

Fairway Cottages
Three distinct cottages overlooking the Highland Course fairways, accommodating 1–4 guests each. Chalet-style architecture with the same wood-and-stone interior language as the Lodge. Can be rented individually or as a full cottage when traveling with family.
Junior Suite
A step up from the Lodge Room with a separate living area. Located in the main Lodge with the same premium mountain views, private balcony, and full slate of amenities. Frette sheets, deep soaking tubs, Bulgari toiletries.

The base category in the main Lodge building. Oversized footprint with modern-rustic décor — think dark wood, leather accents, and nature-inspired artwork. Automated lighting and shade systems, coffee maker, Frette 400-thread-count sheets, and private balcony with golf course and Blue Ridge Mountain views. Pinnacle Cottages
Named after the famous Pinnacles of Dan, these chalet-like standalone accommodations sit above the valley with bird's-eye views. Sixteen rooms in total — a mix of suites and rooms — spread across the Pinnacle buildings. Large living rooms, open fireplaces, and private balconies. Spacious and serene, ideal for groups booking neighboring units. Note: construction visible from porches as of April 2026, expected through 2027.

Tree Houses
Adults-only. Built of aromatic red cedar by renowned French treehouse architects La Cabane Perchée, these intimate suites perch in the limbs of old-growth oaks above the Dan River Gorge. At 2,700 feet elevation, the views across Kibler Valley toward North Carolina's Pilot Mountain are remarkable — day or night. Each has a king bed, en suite bathroom with twin vanities and soaking tub, and an expansive private deck that doubles as a stargazing platform. Complimentary continental breakfast delivered to your door daily, plus a self-guided wine-tasting with Flowers Vineyards and Winery. Accessing the tree houses requires a 4WD vehicle; complimentary shuttle available. Original tree houses are 440 sq ft. The 2024-era Mountain Top Tree House Suites are ~450 sq ft with added outdoor shower and hot tub.
