The Moore
Design-forward art compound meets discreet private club. South American modernist furniture, plaster walls, curved wood, clay, rattan — each suite feels like someone's extremely well-curated apartment. Lively without being loud.
Club hours are Mon–Thu 7am–midnight, Fri–Sat 11am–2am, closed Sunday — plan your speakeasy night accordingly
Why It Matters
Holds one Michelin Key (2025). The only hotel physically inside the Miami Design District. Massimo Bottura's Torno Subito — his only U.S. restaurant — opened on the ground floor in December 2024, replacing Elastika. The Zaha Hadid Elastika sculpture (a 2005 commission by Craig Robins for the inaugural Design Miami) anchors the atrium. Suites were designed by Studio Collective and ICRAVE with custom furniture from Brazilian brand Sossego and Dallas-based Mous.
The Moore is a century-old Miami landmark that has gone through many lives — furniture showroom, design fair venue, now a 15-suite boutique hotel stacked above a private members club, co-working floors, and one of the city's most talked-about restaurant addresses. The hotel suites sit on the fourth floor of a sprawling 90,000-square-foot building anchored by Zaha Hadid's Elastika sculpture, a site-specific wire installation that snakes through the four-story atrium below. Book a room here and you get the whole building — gallery access, speakeasy, karaoke, and all.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The Moore houses an ongoing gallery with a rotating curated art collection organized by Miami-based art adviser Monika Kalpakian. Hotel guests have full access. Art also adorns all communal spaces throughout the building.
The Miami Design District's public art circuit and gallery scene is right outside the front door. Highlights include the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Opera Gallery, and David Castillo Gallery. The district also has a free public art guide. Wynwood Walls is about 25 minutes on foot.
The Moore has a partnership with a shoreside hotel offering guests access to a private beach with loungers, parasol, and service. Not on-site — ask reception to arrange it.
Hotel guests get full run of the 20,000-square-foot Club floor: karaoke room, billiards tables, library, sunroom, photo booth, hidden cocktail lounges, and multiple private dining rooms — each with its own design concept. The Club runs weekdays until midnight, Fri–Sat until 2am, closed Sundays.
Hotel guests can access personal shopping services through the Miami Design District's Styled by MDD program, placing you in the hands of a personal stylist amid one of the world's densest concentrations of luxury fashion boutiques.
The third-floor co-working space, The Workplace, is available to hotel guests during weekday hours (8am–6pm). Communal desks, a creative atmosphere, and the building's design energy make it one of Miami's more interesting places to get actual work done. There's also a podcast studio available.
