A Victorian seafront building built in 1883 — originally a sailors' rest, converted to a boutique hotel in 2004 — The Old Quay House sits directly on Fowey's Fore Street with the estuary practically at its doorstep. Fourteen individually decorated rooms spread across three floors, most with estuary views and some with small balconies. No pool, no spa, no gym. What it does have is the new Samphire restaurant, excellent service, and one of the best water outlooks in Cornwall.

More spacious than the Superior rooms, beautifully designed with super-king or twin beds. Partial estuary views and a small balcony make these good for longer stays. Walk-in shower in the bathroom.
Super King (or Twin on request)Luxury Classic Rooms
Street-facing rooms on a more spacious scale than the standard Classics. Shower over bath configuration. All the usual in-room comforts — good for a relaxed stay without paying for estuary views.

Tucked beneath the eaves with charming low ceilings and small windows. Cosy rather than grand. A freestanding roll-top bath sits within the bedroom itself, and the separate bathroom has a walk-in shower. Not for the claustrophobic, but lovely for those who like atmosphere over space.

The hotel has no private car park. The Old Station Yard Car Park is the nearest public option, approximately 800 yards away. Guests can briefly stop on Fore Street (up to 5 minutes) to drop luggage.
