A proper one-bedroom suite with a large living area, oversized marble bathroom, and an additional powder room. City views over Chicago Avenue and Rush Street. Pull-out sofa bed in the living room makes this a solid choice for families who need the extra bunk.
KingGrand Deluxe Room
The upgrade you're after if Michigan Avenue views matter. Higher floors frame the historic Water Tower and the Magnificent Mile shopping strip. Same room DNA as the Deluxe but with the address's best standard-room vistas. Rooms can connect for families needing more space.
King or Double-DoubleGrand Deluxe Suite
Recently redesigned to stay true to the hotel's original Parisian Art Deco interiors while adding a more residential luxury feel. Picture windows frame Michigan Avenue. A big jump in size, with Rush Street views and two double beds — the most family-friendly of the guest room categories. At 701 sq ft it genuinely feels like a junior suite.
Double-DoublePeninsula Suite
The flagship. On the 18th floor at the corner of Michigan and Chicago Avenues, this 3,600 sq ft suite comes with a 2,000 sq ft private terrace overlooking Lake Michigan. There's a grand foyer leading into a main living area with a marble fireplace and baby grand piano, a formal dining room with gilded wallpaper and butler's pantry, and a private bedroom wing with his-and-hers dressing rooms. Rain shower, deep soaking tub, dual vanities. Full butler service. It's designed for serious entertaining as much as sleeping.
KingPremier Deluxe Suite
Overlooking Water Tower Park on Chicago Avenue — a historic and photogenic view. Generous living area with oversized marble bathrooms. A step up from the Deluxe Suite in both size and sightlines.
KingSuperior Room
The entry-level room here is already more spacious than most hotels' premium categories. Facing south over Superior Street, the interiors run in muted creams and signature blues with Macassar wood furniture and cream leather. Custom Pratesi linens, a deep marble soaking tub with its own 19-inch TV, and a bedside control panel for lighting, temperature, and entertainment — it's a lot of room for a base category.
