Why It Matters

Philipp Plein opened this 5-star boutique in a neoclassical Milanese palazzo and made zero effort to be subtle about it. Thirteen rooms across three floors, each one a different interpretation of Plein's maximalist aesthetic — chandeliers everywhere, mirror-clad walls, marble bathrooms, and in-room saunas in most categories.
