Why It Matters
One of the very few properties anywhere that was fully realized by Andrée Putman — the Paris designer behind the original Morgans hotel in New York and interiors for Louis Vuitton, Veuve Clicquot, and Air France's Concorde. The Putman is a 28-room boutique hotel in Central Hong Kong, fully designed by the late Parisian modernist Andrée Putman. Its Art Deco-inspired glass façade stands out on Queen's Road Central, while inside the suites are a rare thing in this city: genuinely spacious. Full-floor units run 1,300 sq ft with proper kitchens, Villeroy & Boch soaking tubs, and walls of floor-to-ceiling windows. No pool, no spa, no on-site restaurant — this is a considered trade-off, and most guests love it.

Same 1,300 sq ft full-floor layout as the standard suite but positioned on the upper floors for views of Victoria Harbour. Features Putman's iconic Crescent Moon sofa, Villeroy & Boch standalone tub, and a Dornbracht rain shower. Private lobby access included. Ideal if the harbour view matters to you — worth the uplift.

The compact option at 250–300 sq ft — more typical of a Hong Kong hotel room size, so a notable step down from the suites.
