Hotel guests get priority reservations at Death & Co — use it. The bar fills up fast, especially on weekends.

Why It Matters

Home to Death & Co Denver — the first outpost of the celebrated NYC cocktail bar outside of its East Village home, which has won America's Best Cocktail Bar and World's Best Cocktail Menu at the Tales of the Cocktail convention. The hotel also runs Vauxhall, an intimate music venue and bar, a seasonal rooftop garden, and an Artist in Residence program that puts original art in every guest room.

The Ramble Hotel is a 50-room, locally owned boutique hotel that was the first to plant a flag in Denver's RiNo (River North Art District). Its cast-iron and red-brick industrial exterior — designed by award-winning architects Johnson Nathan Strohe — gives way to interiors drawn from Madame Rambouillet's 17th-century French salons: moody walls, wide-plank hickory floors, antique Persian rugs, eclectic curated art, and glitzy chandeliers. The real anchor is Death & Co, the legendary NYC East Village cocktail institution, occupying the grand lobby as its first-ever location outside New York. Every space here is deliberately designed to spark conversation — the hotel's founding philosophy is equal parts Parisian salon and RiNo grit.
