The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands opened in 2021 and spans three connected islands in North Malé Atoll — a 45-minute speedboat ride from the airport (that costs a non-trivial $1,027 per adult round-trip). It is 100 villas, no more, each with a private infinity pool and a personal Aris Meeha butler on call around the clock. The resort sits within the larger Fari Islands development alongside Patina Maldives, and guests can hop to the Fari Marina Village for shopping, street food, and a change of scenery without ever leaving the atoll.

One-Bedroom Beach Pool Villa
Set directly on the beach — Grand Sunset Beach side means you get the full orange-sky experience from your private pool deck at dusk. Same formula as the overwater villas: private infinity pool, sundeck, full butler service, Bamford amenities. Direct access onto the white sand without any steps or bridge.
One-Bedroom Ocean Pool Villa
The entry point into overwater living here, and still extraordinarily generous. Positioned over the turquoise lagoon, most of these villas are arranged in a circle around the overwater spa — so you choose between sunrise, sunset, or north-facing orientations. Wall-to-wall glass sliding doors dissolve inside and outside. The private infinity pool sits on the deck above the water. Marble bathroom with soaking tub and rainfall shower. Bamford amenities throughout.
The Ritz-Carlton Estate
The most extreme option on property: three separate villas with four bedrooms total, over 16,000 square feet of private grounds on a secluded beach cove. Two oversized King beds in the master bedrooms, Queen beds in the secondary bedroom, all in Frette linen. Full kitchen, expansive living and dining room, two private infinity pools, outdoor dining pavilions, and a private beach. A dedicated Aris Meeha is assigned specifically to the Estate. Bicycles are provided for every guest and parked outside each villa. A self-guided tour around the three islands is one of the best ways to explore. Bike dock stations are at restaurants, beaches, the gym, and other spots around the property.
