Why It Matters
The total-hotel partnership with Michelin-starred chef José Andrés is genuinely rare at this scale. Nubeluz is one of the few true open-air rooftop spaces at this altitude in NYC, and Bazaar Meat has become a destination restaurant in its own right. For a Ritz-Carlton, the aesthetic is unusually sharp and contemporary.
Opened in 2022, the Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad is the brand's second Manhattan outpost — and by most accounts its coolest. The hotel sits in a newly constructed 40-floor glass tower at 28th and Broadway, with guest rooms starting on the 14th floor and penthouses topping out near 500 feet. What sets it apart from other luxury hotels in the city is the total commitment to José Andrés: his team runs every food and beverage concept on property, from the all-day Mediterranean spot Zaytinya to the rooftop bar Nubeluz to the steakhouse Bazaar Meat — and every single food presentation in the Club Lounge. The design draws loosely from the neighborhood's Flower District roots, with bespoke furnishings, terrazzo marble bathrooms, and Diptyque toiletries throughout.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The hotel's concierge team crafts bespoke NYC itineraries based on guest interests — art, dining, neighborhoods, or events. Insider's Guide to New York available on request.
24-hour in-room dining fully curated by the José Andrés Group. Not a standard room service menu — this is the same culinary program as the restaurant floor.
Sophisticated afternoon tea at the rooftop bar every Saturday and Sunday, 11AM–3PM. Includes truffled grilled cheese, caviar selection, Champagne bottle service, and kids' options. Live jazz on select dates.
A private guided evening through all four restaurants and bars on property. Starts at Zaytinya for Eastern Mediterranean flavors, moves to Bazaar Bar for José's own sparkling wine and the world's most famous olives, then bites and drinks at Bazaar Meat, finishing at Nubeluz with cocktails and caviar plus 270-degree skyline views.
Special check-in experience, custom in-room amenities, and bespoke itineraries for young guests created by the concierge team. Activities connect children to the four pillars of Ritz Kids discovery: Water, Land, Environmental Responsibility, and Culture. Nearby options include the National Museum of Mathematics (0.2 miles) and the LEGO Store (0.3 miles).
Rotating calendar of signature hotel events including holiday programming, themed dinners, and special experiences. Check the events calendar at event.marriott.com/nycro before arrival.
