Why It Matters
The first and only Ritz-Carlton in Morocco, opened September 2024. The hotel's architecture alone is extraordinary — muqarnas dome, Andalusian gardens, and a monumental outdoor mosaic pool. Direct adjacency to Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (45 holes, Robert Trent Jones-designed, host of the Hassan II Trophy PGA European Tour event) is a significant draw for golfers. The spa, built in precious green marble with hammam rituals and a Roman bath-inspired indoor pool, is among the finest in the country.
Morocco's first Ritz-Carlton opened in September 2024, and it makes an immediate statement. The building is palatial — a gleaming white structure beneath a dome embellished with muqarnas (that honeycomb-style Arab-Andalusian vaulting), surrounded by Andalusian-style gardens with geometric mosaics, bonsai trees, and whispering fountains. Set at KM 9 on Avenue Mohammed VI, it sits directly adjacent to the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, which means you can practically roll out of bed and onto a world-class fairway. It's not in the city centre — it's a 20–25 minute drive out — but for the grounds, the quiet, and the scale of it, many guests won't mind at all.

The views of surrounding greenery are uniformly good — even the base rooms feel properly immersive.

The design is modern-sophisticated: stylish furniture, designer architectural details, and a marble bathroom with double vanities.
