The Rockaway Hotel + Spa is a Scandi-style boutique hotel sitting one block from the Atlantic on the Rockaway Peninsula — New York City's only surfing beach. It's 84,000 square feet of teak-and-linen rooms, a heated outdoor pool, a sixth-floor rooftop bar with dual ocean and bay views, and a full spa. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Guests receive complimentary use of beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Rockaway is NYC's only surfing beach, with the best surf break near 67th Street and quieter stretches between 105th–116th Street.
