The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa
Georgian grandeur meets confident contemporary British luxury. Statement fabrics, bold colours, period features. Formal enough to feel special, relaxed enough that there's no dress code at dinner.

Why It Matters
One of Bath's most iconic addresses — literally inside the Royal Crescent, a UNESCO-listed landmark. Holds 2 Michelin Keys and 3 AA Rosettes for its restaurant. The only hotel actually set within the Crescent itself.
The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa occupies houses 15 and 16 of Bath's famous 500-foot arc of 30 Georgian townhouses — one of the finest examples of 18th-century architecture in Europe. A local ban on signage means there's no hotel sign outside; you'll spot it by the doorman. Interiors were redone by designer Woodhouse & Law: crisp contemporary-classic with antiques woven in, not a dusty period-piece replica. The acre of walled gardens behind are rare for a city-centre hotel, and the Bath House spa, set in a converted coach house, is the real draw.
