Singular Santiago
Boutique luxury with a literary, Art Deco-meets-bohemian character. Think Parisian salon crossed with South American flair — frosted mirrors, softly lit chandeliers, emerald leather chairs, and jazz spinning in the lobby.

Why It Matters
Holder of one Michelin Key and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, The Singular Santiago is the urban sibling of the acclaimed Singular Patagonia lodge. Opened in 2014, it quickly established itself as one of Santiago's top boutique luxury properties, known for its design-forward interiors, chef-driven restaurant applying French technique to Chilean ingredients, and a rooftop bar widely considered one of the city's best terraces. Interior design by Chilean designer Enrique Concha; architecture by Federico Prieto.
The Singular Santiago sits in the Lastarria district — Santiago's most walkable cultural quarter — steps from Parque Forestal and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Opened in 2014 as a purpose-built property, the black façade and twin brickwork volumes convincingly mirror the surrounding French-influenced 19th-century architecture. Inside, the vibe shifts to something between a gentleman's library and a design hotel: leather chairs, stacked art books, over 1,000 framed artworks, and custom furniture mixing Art Deco with Asian touches across 62 rooms and one suite over nine floors. The 9th-floor rooftop bar and seasonal pool are the standout, with sweeping views of San Cristóbal Hill and the Andes beyond.
