The Source Hotel
Industrial-minimalist with Scandi-Japanese DNA. Polished concrete and birch meet simple furniture and soft textiles. Creative, arts-forward energy without trying too hard about it.

Why It Matters
The original Market Hall building was the Colorado Iron Works plant, a prominent Denver manufacturer from the 1870s. The hotel straddles history and hyper-modern design. Safta by James Beard Award–winning Chef Alon Shaya is Michelin-recommended and one of Denver's most talked-about restaurants. Temaki Den, also Michelin-recommended, is on the same floor. And the new rooftop restaurant Cimera, a Pan-Latin concept from Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz and Denver's own Geoff Cox (Michelin Bib Gourmand at Hop Alley), replaced the former Woods restaurant. Nominated for Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Readers' Choice Award.
Born from an 1870s iron foundry, The Source Hotel is a 100-room boutique hotel fused with 45,000 square feet of artisan market hall in Denver's RiNo Art District. The Scandinavian-meets-brutalist aesthetic runs through polished concrete floors, custom Baltic birch casework, and floor-to-ceiling windows — some of which are roll-up garage doors that open to Colorado air. But the real pull is the food: a rotating lineup of Michelin-recommended and James Beard–recognized restaurants sits directly below (and atop) your room.
