Why It Matters
Part of Turkey's first carbon-neutral independent hotel group. The hotel functions as a cultural venue as much as a place to sleep — there's a gallery floor hosting rotating exhibitions and acoustic concerts, a sustainable clothing store (The Stay Line) at street level, and Saint Pâtissier serving proper French pastries at the entrance. The Stay Boulevard Nisantasi is the most design-forward property in The Stay Hotels portfolio — and its Nisantasi address says everything. It sits right on Tesvikiye Avenue, sandwiched between boutiques, designer cafés, and fashion showrooms in one of Istanbul's most upscale neighborhoods. Architect Mahmut Anlar designed all 82 rooms, while the Autoban studio handled key spaces including the rooftop restaurant. Art is everywhere: a live AI video-mapping installation by digital studio Ouchhh greets guests on the staircase, and a curated collection of works by established and emerging Turkish artists hangs throughout rooms and public spaces.
