Zetter Marylebone
Eccentric Georgian townhouse. Dark, richly layered interiors — think collector's den meets boutique hotel. Intimate and cosy. Cocktail-first culture.
Book The Parlour separately — it's open to non-guests too, and tables go in 90-minute slots, so reserve in advance especially on weekends
Why It Matters
The cocktail program at Seymour's Parlour draws serious mixology talent — past menus have featured collaborators from Scout and Lost Property. Vogue named the Afternoon Tea one of London's top 10. And with only 24 rooms, it's genuinely boutique in a city where that word gets abused constantly.
A 24-room Georgian townhouse on a quiet Marylebone backstreet, two minutes from Marble Arch and a world away from the Oxford Street crowds. The whole place is themed around the fictional 'Wicked Uncle Seymour' — think Sir John Soane's Museum crossed with a Wes Anderson set: walls crammed with architectural models, antique clocks, mismatched chintz drapes, and old Indian rugs. The Parlour downstairs doubles as lobby, cocktail bar, and afternoon tea room, and it's genuinely one of London's great drinking spots.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Choose between Aunt Wilhelmina's dainty tea (traditional finger sandwiches, scones, cakes) or Uncle Seymour's Gentleman's Tea with warm savouries like truffle sausage rolls and pork croquettes. Both come with scones, jam, clotted cream, and a selection of cakes. Named one of London's top 10 Afternoon Tea destinations by Vogue. Served daily 12pm–4pm. Can be paired with Champagne or a cocktail.
Settle into a table in the Georgian drawing room and work through a seasonal cocktail menu built around classic British flavours and inventive techniques. Past menus have featured bespoke creations in collaboration with some of London's best mixologists. Table service only — no standing at the bar.
The entire property — all 24 bedrooms and The Parlour — can be exclusively hired for private events. The Parlour hosts monthly events including jazz bands, mixology evenings, and seasonal celebrations. Standing reception or informal dinner-style available in the Parlour with bespoke cocktails.
