A family-owned 4-star hotel split across two distinct buildings in the quiet village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral Peninsula. The original historic house retains oak carvings, ornate ceilings, and genuinely characterful rooms — including a 4-poster suite and a penthouse. The newer wing has the Executive Garden View rooms with balconies over the lawns. The spa is the real draw: a full Health Club with a Roman-bath-inspired 20m pool, snow cave, Himalayan salt wall, outdoor hot tubs, and an expansive treatments menu. Liverpool and Chester are both about 15 minutes by car.
