Why It Matters
Named European Golf Resort of the Year 2014 by IAGTO. Hosted the 50th Anniversary Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2013, won by Graeme McDowell. Gary Player himself has called it the most beautiful course he has ever seen. The 6th hole — a long par-3 perched 40 meters above the Black Sea — is one of the most photographed holes in European golf. And it is the only golf resort in Bulgaria with its own private beaches.

85 hectares of cliff-top terrain along 4.5 km of Black Sea coastline. Every hole has a sea view. The 6th is a long par-3 with the green set 40 meters below the cliff edge; the 7th has its tee box on a small island in the sea. Golf carts are mandatory — the terrain makes walking impractical. Multiple tee boxes accommodate a range of handicaps. Opened 2011; hosted the 2013 Volvo World Match Play Championship.
Full-size driving range with multiple target flags. Wide and undulating, with bunkers. Shared between guests and day visitors.
Private and group lessons available with the resort's resident golf pro, Jordon Borisov (highly rated by past guests for both swing correction and full playing lessons).
Annual events including the St. George President's Cup (Stableford format, open to members and non-members) and the Spring Scramble Tournament. Tournament fee for non-members approximately €130.

The only golf resort in Bulgaria with its own private beaches. Both offer white sand, sunbeds, cabanas (charged separately), beach restaurants, and lifeguards. Access included May 1–October 15. Advance reservation required in peak season.
