Beach No. 5 faces east, so you get spectacular sunrises and full-moon rises right from the resort; Radhanagar Beach on the west side is better for sunsets

Why It Matters

One of the very few serious eco-luxury properties in the Andamans, with an in-house Lacadives PADI dive centre, a genuine Ayurveda spa, strong cultural programming rooted in indigenous Andamanese heritage, and direct access to a private 2km beach. CGH Earth is a respected Kerala-based hospitality group with deep sustainability credentials across its portfolio.

Tilar Siro sits on the east coast of Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), right on the 2km stretch of Vijaynagar Beach (Beach No. 5). The name comes from the Great Andamanese Tribe's word 'Thi-Lar-Siro' — land born from the sea — and the resort wears that identity seriously. Twenty-five stilted rooms and villas are built around existing trees using local timber and stone, with thatched roofs and floor-to-ceiling glass that frames the rainforest-meets-ocean backdrop. This is a CGH Earth property, which means strong sustainability credentials: marine biologists on staff, weekly beach clean-ups, water recycling, and locally sourced food.

Where You'll Stay

3 room types available

Garden Room
Deluxe Room

Garden Room

A stilted room set within the tropical garden, with a private balcony that looks out over lush greenery rather than the sea. Soft earthy tones, local wood and stone finishes, thatched roof, floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Good value entry point if you don't need a sea view — the garden here is genuinely beautiful and quiet.

Sea View Room

Sea Facing Room

Same footprint as the Garden Room but positioned to face the ocean. Step onto the balcony and you get glimpses of the Andaman Sea through the palm fronds. The top-tier option. At 1,092 sq ft it's more than double the standard rooms, with an expansive living area that flows onto an outdoor deck with a private plunge pool — positioned to look straight out at the Andaman Sea. Guests consistently single out the private pool and the breakfast as highlights. The villa format gives a level of seclusion you won't find in the standard rooms.
