Seven cliffside suites perched above the Indian Ocean in Uluwatu, attached to one of Bali's most lauded beach clubs. The hotel came second — the beach club opened in 2017 and built a reputation for killer sunsets, international DJ nights, and a 25-meter infinity pool long before anyone could sleep here. How you'll actually spend your days.
The centerpiece of the property — a 25-meter clifftop infinity pool with unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean. Daybeds and poolside cabanas surround it. The place where the day begins and rarely ends on time.
Beyond the Saturday residency, the club hosts visiting international DJs in an intimate clifftop setting. Past events have included big-name acts. Tickets available online or at the door; events before 8pm are typically free-entry, after 8pm entry is ~155,000 IDR.
Ulu's signature weekly Saturday pool party. Resident and visiting DJs spin organic electronic, house, and surf sounds from afternoon into the night. One of the more consistent weekly events on Uluwatu's calendar.
A cosy lounge reserved for hotel guests. Books, surf culture reads, and a well-stocked cocktail bar with reportedly the best espresso martini on the property. A cool-down spot during midday heat.
Walk down the long cliff staircase to a bar and deck perched just above the breaking waves at the base of the 200-foot cliff. Worth the climb down — and the climb back up.
