The rooftop terrace on the 6th floor has some of the best direct views of Cologne Cathedral you'll find from any hotel. A special room category with a view, themed around the Gaffel Brewery heritage of the site. Not bookable online — you have to call the hotel to request it. Limited availability. If you love the brewery backstory and want a more curated experience, this is the one to ask about.

The entry-level room, and honestly a tight 16 sqm. That said, everything is well-designed — soundproofed walls mean you won't hear the city, and the walk-in shower bathroom is clean and functional. A king-size bed, SmartTV, USB ports, safe, and air conditioning are all standard. There's art on the walls. The city views exist but aren't the headline attraction here.
