Why It Matters
Eugene's sole riverfront hotel, open since 1973, survived a 2023 arson fire and emerged from a multimillion-dollar 2024 renovation with every room rebuilt. Sits directly on the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path System. Elvis slept here in 1976 — the Casanova Suite is named in his honor.

Casanova Suite
The biggest room in the house and historically the most famous — Elvis stayed here in 1976. Over 1,000 sq ft with two private balconies overlooking the Willamette River. The oversized master bathroom has a whirlpool tub and separate shower. There's an extensive living area, a half bath, full workstation, and all the standard suite tech. This is the one to book for anniversaries or anyone who wants to feel very Oregon about it.
Deluxe King
375 sq ft king room with a private balcony or patio (courtyard or interior view). Same 2024 renovation package — custom wood furniture, flat-panel TV, pour-over coffee, USB ports, Farmhouse Fresh toiletries. The entry-level room type, though at 375 sq ft it's still genuinely spacious.
KingDeluxe Two Queen
Two queen beds with a private balcony or patio. Good for families or groups who don't need a river or pool-specific view. All standard 2024 amenities included.

Executive Suite Pool View
Same 765 sq ft layout as the River View Executive Suite — separate bedroom, living room with pull-out sofa, wet bar, two TVs — but the private balcony looks over the outdoor pool and courtyard rather than the river. A notch less dramatic, but quieter and often priced a bit lower.
KingExecutive Suite River View
765 sq ft of river-facing space with a private balcony directly overlooking the Willamette. Separate bedroom, large living room with pull-out sofa and coffee table, dining table, wet bar, two flat-screen TVs, and a spacious bathroom with a separate vanity area. The reading lights fold flush into the headboard — a small detail that reviewers consistently mention.
Junior Suite
572 sq ft with a plush sitting enclave, pull-out sofa, coffee table, and easy chairs. A second TV and separate vanity make this a reasonable step up for families or anyone who wants a bit more breathing room without the full executive price. Balcony or patio with river or pool view depending on assignment.
Pool View King

Complimentary shuttle to and from Eugene Airport (EUG) and within a 5-mile radius of the hotel. First night of parking is included for the Park & Fly package; confirm shuttle schedule at check-in.
Guests can borrow bikes from the hotel to explore the riverfront path. Seasonal availability — confirm at check-in. The LTD Autzen Stadium shuttle stop is also walkable from the hotel, useful on Ducks game days.
The Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path System runs directly past the hotel's front door — 12 miles of paved paths on both banks, connected by bicycle-friendly footbridges. The hotel offers complimentary loaner bikes seasonally, making it easy to loop through riverside parks or pedal toward downtown.
Large outdoor pool open 10am–10pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Expansive poolside sun deck. Reviewers note it's genuinely big — not a dipping pool.

Over 15,000 sq ft of fully renovated function space including the Willamette Ballroom, Columbia Ballroom, Rogue and Umpqua rooms, and 8 total spaces — many with riverfront views. Eugene's only event venue on the Willamette River. Conference center and 13 meeting rooms total.
