Ask for a room overlooking the garden or the piazza — the abbey view is genuinely special, especially at dusk

Why It Matters

Relais & Châteaux member since 2002. Houses the region's only Michelin-starred restaurant. Family-owned since 1965 with three generations still involved. Located directly on the UNESCO Prosecco Hills World Heritage corridor, with the medieval Abbey of Follina essentially as a front garden.

A small, family-run 5-star hotel split between an 18th-century palazzo and an Art Nouveau villa in the heart of Follina's prosecco country. The Zanon De Marchi family has been here since 1965, and that ownership shows — this is one of those places where the maître de maison knows your name by dinner. The on-site La Corte restaurant holds a Michelin star, making it the only one in the entire Prosecco wine region.

Comfort Room

The entry-level category, but don't expect something generic. These rooms look directly onto Follina's historic centre and the 13th-century Cistercian Abbey — that view alone justifies the category. Each room is individually furnished with antiques. Sleeps 2, with a choice of one double or two single beds.

Classic decor with a working desk and sofa. Views from the terrace in the morning — river mist, Alps, prosecco hills — are the main reason people request this room specifically. Sleeps 2.
