Villa-des-Prés opened in December 2023 in a 1911 Art Nouveau apartment building on one of Saint-Germain's most storied streets, Rue de Buci. The original sandstone facade and a spiral staircase lined with stained glass windows survive intact; everything behind them was gutted and rebuilt by designer Bruno Borrione into 34 rooms that feel like a collector's private apartment. Art curated by gallerist Amélie du Chalard hangs in every room and corridor, and the whole building was physically lifted during construction to cut metro-train vibrations.
