Villa Escondida is a fully staffed, 4-suite private villa sitting directly on Playa La Bocana — a rarely crowded beach at the quieter eastern end of Huatulco, right where it bumps up against Copalita Eco-Archaeological Park. You rent the whole thing, not individual rooms. It comes with an in-house chef, infinity pool, rooftop bar with a jacuzzi, and beach access that most guests describe as almost deserted. The villa runs 100% on wind energy, sources food and furnishings locally, and is notably free of the all-inclusive resort vibe that dominates the rest of Huatulco.

Suite Cuatro
The villa's crown jewel. At 600 sq ft, it's the largest and most directly oceanfront suite, with an open terrace looking straight out to sea. The walk-in shower has double heads and a full ocean view — you can watch the waves while you shower. Walk-in closet adds a sense of real hotel luxury. Both the Michelin Guide and returning guests call this one out specifically as the room to request.
King
Suite Dos
A bright junior suite with a private terrace and direct ocean views. Compact but well-appointed — his and her armoires keep the space feeling uncluttered. The ensuite has dual vanities and an oversized Cantera tile shower. Good pick for a couple who wants ocean air without the size premium of Suite Cuatro.
KingSuite Tres
The most flexible room in the house — it can be set up as a king or split into two twins, which makes it popular with friends traveling together or older kids. The standout feature is the oversized walk-in shower with double shower heads and a natural rock formation view through the glass. Smallest of the four suites but not short on character.
