The prestige rooms dial up the period grandeur: wooden paneling, louvered shutters, Descamps armchairs, Murano chandeliers, fireplaces and parquet. White-on-mirrors everywhere gives them an airy, luminous quality. Located on the first and second floors, they look out onto either Rue de la Cloche or the pool. Bathrooms feature Biosalines cosmetics made on Île de Ré using marine-sourced ingredients. Fair warning: one reviewer noted a 28 sqm room over the kitchen where morning smells can drift up.
