Why It Matters
Formerly Impérial Garoupe, this is now a Relais & Châteaux member with Mauro Colagreco (3 Michelin stars at Mirazur) running both on-site restaurants — a rare combination at a 35-room boutique hotel. The rooms were fully redesigned by Maison Numéro 20 architect Oscar Lucien Ono.
Villa Miraé opened in 2025 as a full reimagining of the historic Impérial Garoupe, and it hits the ground running. Thirty-five rooms and suites designed by architect Oscar Lucien Ono sit inside a walled compound just a short walk from Plage de la Garoupe, all wrapped in Mediterranean gardens, a heated pool, and a seafront solarium. The real draw is the dining: 3-Michelin-star chef Mauro Colagreco oversees two restaurants here, making it one of the most gastronomically serious small hotels on the Riviera.
