Why It Matters
Registered in Italy's Register of Historic Houses of Excellence. The standout travertine pool, reportedly designed by architect Enrico del Debbio (who also designed Rome's Foro Italico), is surrounded by statues and fountains and is one of the most distinctive pools in the region. Entirely adults-only, privacy is baked into the DNA here — gated estate with access passes for guests.
An 18th-century aristocratic villa sitting on 6 hectares of parkland above the Val d'Orcia, just 2km from Montepulciano's medieval center. Family-run by the Savini family, it's adults-only with 14 units — 3 rooms and 11 suites — spread across the historic main villa and garden annexes. No restaurant on-site, but a generous complimentary breakfast sets the tone each morning. The whole place feels like staying in a private home, not a hotel.
