Villa Svetoni Wine Resort
Rustic-luxe Tuscan wine estate. High ceilings, exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, handwoven rugs, and framed vintage winery photos sit alongside stone bathrooms with walk-in showers. Think working farm with genuine elegance — not a theme-park version of Italy.
Book Osmosi well in advance — it draws non-guests from across the region and fills quickly
Why It Matters
One of the few wine resorts in Tuscany where the winery, the Michelin-starred restaurant, the spa, and the rooms are all genuinely integrated on a single historic estate. Osmosi, the on-site restaurant led by Chef Mirko Marcelli, earned its first Michelin star in 2024. The estate also makes its own Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, the first historic Italian DOCG wine.
An 18th-century estate turned 12-room luxury wine resort, sitting just outside Montepulciano in the heart of Tuscany. The farmhouse — commissioned by Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany — has been producing Vino Nobile di Montepulciano since 1865 and was transformed into Villa Svetoni in 2022. On-site: a 1-Michelin-star restaurant, a centuries-old cellar, infinity pool, and a full spa.
