Villa Tri Men
Elegant restraint. Think light-filled rooms in pale, noble materials with minimal clutter, original artwork by Breton painters in the common areas, and a sense of calm that feels genuinely residential rather than hotel-manufactured. Not flashy — the setting does all the talking.
Room N°1 (Premium Sea View) and Room N°7 are the fan favourites — ask specifically when booking
Why It Matters
One Michelin star (held since 2016) in-house, a genuinely waterfront position on the Odet estuary, and membership in the Teritoria and Tablet Hotels collections. It's also ranked #1 hotel in Combrit on TripAdvisor and holds a 9.7/10 location score on Booking.com.
A bourgeois coastal villa built in 1913 by a Breton admiral, sitting at the edge of the Odet River estuary in Sainte-Marine. The property converted to a hotel in 2003, then fully renovated in 2017/2018, and runs 16 rooms plus 3 garden cottages set across 4 hectares of pine parkland that slopes right down to the water. The real draw is dual: the location — truly waterfront, with Bénodet's harbour visible across the estuary — and the one-Michelin-star restaurant, Les Trois Rochers, where chef Frédéric Claquin cooks serious Breton seafood.
