The tallest hotel in Vietnam occupies the 47th to 71st floors of Landmark 81 — a 461-meter skyscraper that looms over the west bank of the Saigon River in Binh Thanh District. All 223 rooms start from the 49th floor, and every single one has floor-to-ceiling windows, so there is no bad view here. The design draws from a Vietnamese folk story about Saint Giong and a bundle of bamboo, and the references show up in thoughtful ways throughout — artwork by local artisans, Vietnamese seaweed bath products developed with a local scientist, cocktails named after rice and bamboo. This is Vietnam's first Autograph Collection property, which opened in January 2023.
