W Bangkok is a 31-floor glass tower that shares its Sathorn address with The House on Sathorn, a 1889 neo-classical mansion that served as a Russian embassy until 1999 and now houses some of the city's best bars and restaurants. The hotel itself leans hard into the W brand's maximalist aesthetic: Thai boxing glove pillows on every bed, touchscreen mood lighting, and a purple-lit lobby that pulses with a soundtrack. It's loud, fun, and deliberately over-the-top — and in Bangkok, that feels completely right.

Corner configuration with two double beds — makes it the practical family option. Lounge chair tucked into the corner and a desk in front of the window. Only 19 of these in the hotel, so availability is limited. Good for families or groups of three traveling together. Bathroom is scaled-down relative to the suites but still features a rectangular tub and sliding glass shower door.

Same 84 sqm footprint as the Marvelous Suite but with a single bathroom and a different color scheme. Only 2 units. Functions as the suite just below the Marvelous in the upgrade hierarchy.

The entry-level room at W Bangkok — but entry-level here means 41 sqm of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Bangkok's skyline. King bed, single armchair, coffee table, and a minibar. Bathroom has a rectangular bathtub under black subway tiles with a mirrored sliding door that toggles between shower and toilet room. Golden Thai boxing glove pillows on the bed are not subtle. All bathrooms have rainfall showers.
