The Waldhotel is the wellness-first hotel within the 60-hectare Bürgenstock Resort, sitting 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain. All 137 rooms face the Alps — minimum 40 sqm, all with balconies — and the design leans on raw wood, local stone, and floor-to-ceiling glass that frames the mountain view like a living painting. The whole place orbits around the 'Healthy by Nature' concept: its own dedicated Waldhotel Spa, chef Christian Scharrer's honest feel-good kitchen at Verbena, and full access to the resort's wider world of alpine golf, Davis Cup tennis courts, and Europe's highest outdoor lift.
