A Grade II* listed manor house dating to the late 15th century, set on 12 acres of Oxfordshire countryside between Oxford and the Cotswolds. Every room is different — think original stone fireplaces, sash windows, oak panelling and copper baths alongside proper beds and modern bathrooms. The Barons Hall has linen-fold wood panelling from the 1680s and the drawing room that now houses the Lavender Restaurant has been here since the reign of William and Mary.

Second floor of the Main House — low ceilings and warm, soft lighting give it an intimate atmosphere despite being a genuinely spacious room. The copper bath is the standout feature; guests consistently highlight it in reviews. Garden views and a cosy, slightly moody aesthetic.

Second floor of the Main House with garden views. Named after the Bertie family who owned the manor in the 18th century. Separate living space alongside the bedroom, en-suite shower room, and those garden views make it a genuinely special room.

The top room in the house and the designated bridal suite. At 120m², it has a four-poster bed, private jacuzzi, large walk-in rain shower, dedicated dressing room with Hollywood makeup mirrors, and a snug that can sleep two additional guests. Finished in Versace interiors — it is unapologetically over the top in the best possible way.

Available in both the Main House and the refurbished Coach House — and the two feel quite different. The Main House version has more period character; the Coach House version leans modern with rustic touches. Both have king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms (bath or shower depending on room), plush bathrobes, and views of the grounds.
