Twenty-two spacious apartments in a purpose-built modernist block by Grüntuch Ernst Architects, sitting directly behind the Wilmina Hotel — the celebrated conversion of an 1896 Berlin women's prison. The apartments run from 80 to 246 sqm, all with floor-to-ceiling windows, COCO-MAT beds, Bang & Olufsen speakers, and fully equipped kitchens. Through the connecting garden, guests get full access to the hotel's 10-metre rooftop pool, sauna, gym, billiard room, library, lounge, and the acclaimed Lovis Restaurant.

An unusually shaped apartment with interesting visual axes — the floor plan tapers toward the bedroom, pulling you through an enormous ~60 sqm open living/dining space before arriving at a quieter sleeping area. Both main rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and loggia access. The kitchen is discreetly integrated. Sofabed in the living room can sleep two extra guests.

The entry-level apartment and still a very generous 80 sqm. A two-room layout with an open living and dining area you see immediately as you walk in — real wood parquet, exposed concrete ceilings, and a kitchen that's tasteful rather than ostentatious. The bedroom has a COCO-MAT king-size bed. Bathroom has a floor-level walk-in shower. The loggia faces the garden.

The smaller of the two top-floor penthouses — still enormous at 222 sqm. Two bedrooms with COCO-MAT king beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and generous balconies. Shares the penthouse-level position and views with its neighbour.

The largest apartment in the building and the one that gets the most attention. At 246 sqm across the top floor, it has two king bedrooms with separate bathrooms (one has a bathtub), an enormous open living room with fireplace and 'sofa landscape', and balconies looking out over both the hotel gardens and the Charlottenburg rooftops. The 85" Smart TV is a hint at how seriously they've taken the living room. Two guests or two couples can rattle around very comfortably here.

A three-room apartment that sleeps up to four. The main bedroom has a king-size bed; the second bedroom can be configured as king or two separate 80cm single beds — useful for families or two couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom: one with walk-in shower only, one with both walk-in shower and bathtub. A 36 sqm living/dining area with open kitchen and full-width floor-to-ceiling windows faces a loggia with wooden floors.

The most architecturally interesting of the multi-bedroom apartments. The V-shaped floor plan means the two bedrooms look out from different angles of the building — you experience both sides of the block. The 47 sqm living/dining area opens onto a loggia with wooden flooring and glass balustrade. Exposed concrete ceilings, real wood parquet, and two bathrooms (one with bathtub). Good for two couples who want both privacy and shared living space.
