QueenWoods Studio
The entry-level stay at Woods at Sasan. Rough stone walls, a lightweight roof, and a private terrace deck sit among the bamboo and wild grass. Compact but well-designed, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing the garden. An open-to-sky rain shower makes it feel wilder than it is.
Woods Studio with Terrace
A step up from the standard Studio, adding a larger private terrace deck with views of the gardens and forest. Same biophilic interiors — unpolished stone, lime plasters, hand-tooled wood — but with the elevated outdoor space that makes the setting really land.

The top-of-house option: a sprawling 3-bedroom villa at 2,498 sq ft with a private plunge pool and garden. Built among the mango trees with glass exteriors offering views of bamboo and lemongrass. A guided sunrise trail through the forest followed by a hilltop breakfast under the open sky — the 'bonnet' is the vehicle hood used as a serving table. Conducted by the head naturalist. One of the most praised experiences at the property.
An evening excursion to the riverside — botanical blends and drinks served as the sun drops below the tree line. A chauffeured vintage car ride to the Hiran riverbank is offered as part of premium versions of the experience.
An escorted safari to the enclosed Devaliya Safari Park — a smaller, more predictable alternative to the main Gir National Park safari. Good option if the main park permits are full or for a guaranteed lion encounter.
Private escorted safari in an open gypsy jeep to Gir National Park with the resort's resident naturalist. Gir is the sole remaining habitat of the Asiatic lion — around 600 individuals. The naturalist reads pug marks, tracks animal calls, and positions the vehicle for best sightings. Safari permits are required and available from the Gujarat government website — book well in advance during peak season.
