YURTA is Kazakhstan's most serious attempt at a culturally rooted boutique hotel. All 20 rooms are individually designed with wood, hand-carved details, and natural textiles — local artisans built the furniture, Kazakh muralist Anel Oshan covered walls and objects with sacred nomadic ornaments, and painter Azat Tabiev hung his landscapes and portraits throughout. The complex runs as a genuine holding: boutique hotel, nomadic-cuisine restaurant, and the region's only koumiss bar all share the same courtyard address on Dostyk Avenue.

Two rooms, 48 m², with a clear split between sleeping and lounge areas. Double bed plus a separate sofa zone makes this the most residential feel below the top-tier Suite. Shower or bathtub depending on which of the 2 junior suites you get — worth asking at booking. Comes with free gym access. Good for couples who want real space, or a trio traveling together.

Compact but genuinely considered — 26 m² with a double bed, work desk, shower bathroom, and warm floors. Each of the 10 standard rooms has its own ethno-aesthetic treatment from a designer, so no two look exactly alike. Good for solo travelers, couples on a city break, or business guests who just need a solid comfortable base.

The top category at 70 m² — the most generous space in the hotel, with a proper separate lounge and a king-size bed in the bedroom. Both a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle. Full mini-bar, room service for any meal, and free gym access. Only 2 of these exist in the property, so book well ahead. The scale makes it viable for small business meetings or extended stays where you need to actually live in the space.
